There's no indication of that.

The barrel and GL sleeve have nothing to do with the bayonet front ring.

If you look at pics, and compare how the bayonet is mounted, there should be no issues mounting a bayonet.

The latch will be fine but the bayonet ring wont be sitting where it should. Won't work

So according to the skin on my face and the size of my gonads when I go outside, its most definitely winter.
So are they here yet?? :d

Youza.

I'm not going to go by the size of anyone's gonads on this one. December 21 is the first official day of winter. March 19, 2017 is the last official day of winter. If the rifles are not here by then ... I wait some more.

Because T.I stated that they might not fit...

might not...he is saying it as though it's a sure thing...they haven't even started production yet, so now would be a good time for TI to ask if they could make them work with a bayonet...all they need to do is make an extra rib near the muzzle for the bayonet ring to sit on...

The design has been approved, prototype has been shipped, the RCMP have labelled the design Non-restricted, we are in the queue for production and you want to start over for a bayonet?

The barrel is longer, so the mounting should be off a bit,. Anyways I dont really care since all the bayos for sale on fleebay are all fake reproductions.

Bayos are played out, serve no purpose. I just want a Type 81 to add to the collection.

how is that starting over? I'm sure it wouldn't be too much trouble, it's a pretty minor change. I personally don't give a ####, so I'm not sure where you got the idea I "want" to start over, seeing how I'm not the one who brought it up, I was merely offering a suggestion. It's not the first time it was brought up, so it's obviously important to some people.
