Is there any chance of a 10 rnd pistol magazine being made for this rifle like there is a LAR15 for .223 rifles?

Even that LAR15 could hold up to 10 rds .223 ammo, still 'legally' it is forbidden to have a mag fed with more than 5 rds on any rifle.

Not correct. Legally you can run a pistol mag holding ten rounds in a rifle. It's a pistol mag so it's limit is defined as a pistol mag. What it fits in doesn't matter, rather what it was designed for does.

i hate you all,
just sayin,
every time i check this thread there's 2 or 3 new pages and my hopes soar thinkin " T.I has announced there here" then its more hen clucking

I know that this is what once having been explained by RCMP and what currently is widely believed. The magazine so designed is, in itself, legal. Yet the way how one use it may not be definitely legal, ie. whether one is using the the magazine for the type of firearm that it was originally designed, is what may make a difference.
Imagine, if a RCMP (who happens not to be an expert on firearm regulations-who could be guru on everything?) seized one firearm with 10 rounds mag (which is not originally designed for the firearm) on, what would he do? Seems that there is a grey area (which might be cleared out in the future). So better err on the safe side:) There are quite some good practices that could help prevent those potential unhappy incidents inflicting fun shooters. Have fun, be safe:)

You are very new here and you are very wrong regarding magazines.

Yes, I new here and is holding different opinions on magazines (more rationale based law interpretation). Also I am a more cautious guy and a safe shooter who has way passed years of young playing around times:) Thanks for the remark though.

It's not a opinion your wrong and until they change it.
Which they probably will, your wrong end of story. Take the time to do some research.

Being cautious doesn't make you right about magazine capacity vs use.

This thread isn't about magazines though. I would suggest you go read a few or a lot of the threads that are.

Don't use pistol mags. Free country, no one is stopping you. Better yet, pin all your rifle mags to one round capacity and enjoy the safest shooting mode eva.

I will wait till there are already here and the bugs are worked out. then i will buy one ... with cash
