^^^^nice picture but definitely not feeling the green.....why is it so hard to source accessories for these?.....I can't find anything for sale in Google.....(mags, bayonetts, different stocks) is it just that we are located in Canada and the Google search only brings up so much? What if I was to get incontact with someone of Chinese decent and they searched accessories with a computer that is based in their language? Or does out IP location have something to do with it?

Why would anyone sell accessories for a gun that doesn't exist in canada yet? No market currently worth while.

As for the green stock, anyone recognize the sun/star logo on the foregrip and stock panel?

Might have found more... Wikipedia says the Kachin K010 version comes with green polymer furniture. From Myanmar. The Kachin K09 comes with black/plum color furniture.

Hopefully the market expands to offer other original stock options or parts kits.

So you are saying no parts and and accessories are available for sale in the civilian market ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD? These are not available for civilian use/private ownership in any other countries?

All the images of these firearms have a quite a few different accessories and hardware options as we have all seen on Google....doubtful they are one off custom designs....a manufacturer has to be producing the hardware somewhere for customers topurchase ......what am I asking is why is is so hard to find a site that actually has parts and accessories for sale to the general public

"Fake news" "fake new".
What I'm saying I'd TI is only a dealer on this CANADNAN FORUM so YES it wouldn't come up on other forums as I TOO am a member on other boards
Nickorette has been a member on here longer then I can remember till he became TI
You are missing the point. You don't have to be a member of cgn to read the post on cgn. Even if somebody joined cgn today they could have known about type 81 from the start.

I'm saying in Canada. Yes the parts are out there... but getting them to this market is something else. And this market is small seeing as we don't have the type 81 here yet to bolster the parts market.

The parts manufacturers are the state arsenals that produce the gun for China, Bangladesh and Myanmar. Military stuff not civilian. The type 81 does not have a large civilian market currently anywhere.

actually there are no accessories for sale for these guns as there are no civilian versions available to any public, they were going to import them to the states in 86 but then norinco tried to sell rocket launchers to oakland gangs and the got shut down(true story) , all pics you see of these guns are military issue with military parts their are like 20 or 30 in the statesa and they dont even have magazines for the guns they have, they're adapting mags from other rifles

The 223 versions came without mags. The 762x39 mags are in the US. Same mag as the type 63/68.

Ok great! I totally understand now why I can NEVER find any parts or accessories for these from time to time when I've searched! I will stop looking

The only thing I've seen was out of the US. Magazines, and rubber training bayonets.

I'd lover to get an LMG parts kit. Just the barrel assembly less trunnion, and the lmg furniture. I'd buy second rifle if I had the barrel and furniture to convert it to an LMG type.

ther is an extremely limited number of mags for the 7.62 in the states, ive been on several forums where the actual owners of type 81 are offerin 150+ for authentic magazines

Most don't realize they are Type 81 mags and believe they are ak mags or just for the type 63/68. They are out there though and more than enough for the limited supply type 81 in the US. The 223 version has zero mags though.

There are several types and sizes for the type 81 mags. Different patterns in the stamping and some with stars. Would be nice to see those imported for those collecting mags too.
