Will AK furniture for this rifle?
I ran a search... Either there's nothing and no ones asked or I don't know how to run searches on the site.
 
Does this not have a smack of "deja vu" when one of the vendors,oh I don`t know...back in circa 2009 mentioned getting a hold of a bunch of Russian SKSs ,took pre-orders and they finally got here in over 12 months ?

Probably the worst thing they or anybody could have mentioned ,let alone take a small fee to hold one of these "rare" beauties.

In time they got here ,everybody got their Rusky SKS ,and soon the market was flooded.

Two things.......I love my Russian SKSs (I have at least 8 ,maybe more ,I have at least 6 ,maybe more Chinese SKSs) ,so no slag against the rifle.

Secondly ,these rifles will get here when they get here ,so saying 3rd Q ,will most likely be read as 2017 ,could be wrong ,but I doubt it.

and to add a third point.....yes indeed, I will definitely purchase one of these SOBs when they arrive !!!!

No, not directly but im sure with a bit of tinkering and modifying the gun itself or the ak furniture you might be able to but would you really want to?


one thing i will say is the pistol grip might with little modification, i modified an akm pistol grip to fit my cz 858 when i still had it with a little filing. if you've seen the internal pics of the type 81 the pistol grip is attached the same way as an ak and cz, a screw with a nut inside the receiver so it may work but who knows. i may try it when mine gets here just for giggles but the stock grip looks pretty comfy

the type 81 is its own animal, and im sure if its a hit in canada we'll get some cool stuff made for it pretty fast by all kinds of canadian manufacturers

Can you drop freedom in your pants over a firearm made by restrictive communists? Spose its fine if when i dump my first mag from it i remember to say "murica".
