Well it is protected from the wings to the sides of it

I really think I'm going to like the rear sight if it looks like I imagine it does when my eye is a foot behind it...I'm really excited for it...even with the delays so far, if I have mine by march I'll be very pleased. If it took 2 years I would be kinda pissed.

I was referring to the side view...the centre of the sight block is cut out...looks cool but leaves it a bit weak possiblely

This is the prototype and the one the rcmp had in the shop for 4 years so they f'ed with everything on it.

I wish ours would have been parkerized instead of blued

lol, I know, it just looked funny...

I'm actually the opposite, I prefer my red rifles blue. I like shiny things

I agree, blued looks great, it will also produce the nice authentic "holster wear" of the bluing down the road. Especially on the receiver dust cover.

This points, handles and feels better then any vz58 I have ever owned.

My vz58 ALWAYS comes with me to the range. Now these will too
