1 of my molds is from old western bullets in the states, it's brass. The 2 others are Lee brand (alum), the .309 is the only one that's loosening off.

what does pc'ing have for thickness?
found some .379 bullets, but a rifle has .379 grooves, Would these shoot best as is or with the extra size after pc'ing?

Depends.

Hardness of lead, there is always some obturation when the cartridge is fired. You may be ok???

Pc can add up to three thou depending on the type of pc. You can also do multiple layers.
With adding pc, you may be ok???

Only real way of knowing what works for your gun is to actually shoot some bullets

Can never have enough manuals, old and new ones. I have a few older calibers that current manuals don’t have information on. I like having the information in front of me. Then I can get a few manuals out and cross reference to see if they have different data.

Did up a batch of dirty thirty for a friend to plink with, then a did about 20 .303 Brit rounds for a test of method, also just for plinking..

Added a .224 55 grain gang mold to my collection, but I'm also waiting for a 9mm 147 gn mold and handles from Blamazon.

Even cheaper, I made my own. Drawings are available on the net.


This is what I use. "Standard .014"
I had to go to the contractors desk and get them to order it in. The usually only carry the economy grade.
