i am new to CGN and am wondering how to navigate the exchange. when i try to go to any of the exchanges they show that there are no posts, but when my friend who informed me of CGN goes on it shows hundreds.

Welcome, you need to go to User CP, then Group Memberships and then Join Group then be approved to get into the exchange. It's quite a hassle compared to joining the CSSA or NFA
