Hi everyone,
Just got my pal, I am looking to buy my first gun. Can anyone suggest anything that's not .22 and my budget is around $700-$800 cad.
Thanx

I was going to say a nice 357mag lever would be nice to get going, but right now the nicer ones are closer to 2k.

Most 22s are definitely in your budget.

Lots of 12g that would be in your price range too. Lots of nice cheap Turkish shotguns.

An sks also in your budget.

A nice bolt around 223 or 308 might also be in your budget. Savage, etc.

See if you can find something used. Not much of a saving though. Most want brand new pieces for their decades old beat up stuff.

All depends for what purpose.
Kind of like asking what's a good tool to buy for my garage.... millions of good tools out there, just depends what you want to use it for.

Well Zeus, perhaps you would like something lightning fast. Cheers
Let us know what your trying to accomplish with said projectiles. Other than everything. Cheers

Scrape together another $250 and get a Moorisson PRZ357 . Comes in a wide range of stock configurations & barrel lengths . On a whim I got the 12" tactical mod (short length for vehicle gun) Large lever for gloved hand . Ate every thing I put through it , reloads , 38 , 38 +P & of course 357 . I was able to put 5 in the black at 25 yds quick from the shoulder . Got it from site sponcer Tenda Canada . Go take a look at them ! P.S Welcome !

I bought a nice Mossburg Pump for around $450, came with 2 barrels. Flawless, zero jams and a whole lot of fun to shoot. Close to 400 rounds through it. (Those beer cans don't stand a chance!)

Welcome.
Get a 223.
Easy on the shoulder and wallet to shoot and very accurate.
Can hunt with it in most provinces if you feel inclined.
Congrats on the PAL. Talk to and convince as many others as you can to get theirs too.
Cheers
