i see too many people on here looking for new guns. asking what is better and the best deal ect. you guys really dont know what you are missing. you need to be looking at older used guns. there is so many choices and you can get guns in your budget that you will actually be happy with. dont just go to a website and look at the glocks CZs and springfields.look at their used section and pick something up a little different. just because a gun is over 10 years old does not make it old used junk.
i was so sad to see a taurus older model pt92 sit on the trade ex site for $395! that is a crazy deal! that gun will last you a lifetime and it was already broke in. it was a real buy. then you come on here and guys are like what should i get a glock or a springfield for $700? :(

it just makes me sad. i want you younger and new guys to try out the old guns. look them up and bring them back to life!

i got this little S&W .38 for under $300 and it is mint inside. it was made in the late 30's early 40's. a lot more fun then shooing any Glock that everyone else has.

Absolutely. I have bought 3 new guns in my lifetime, less than 10% of my collection. The monetary value as well as the history and memories that come with acquiring a used firearm can be well worth it. I love walking into a LGS and seeing the wall of used gems. Everyone has a story.
