New to Handguns. ISO options for first purchase!

I would suggest shooting as many as you can borrow at the range, different people shoot different guns different.
I don't have a shadow, never could shoot CZ 75's worth crap, Put I have a Jericho 941 based on the CZ and it is the best shooting 9mm I have, better than HK P7 That is 600.oo gun new, all steel. The HK almost 5x that.
custom 1911 will out shoot it, but that has a red dot on it and a wack of money in it.
If you are interested in target shooting, single action trigger is better ,as a rule.
and for really good shooting, try a couple good revolvers , just for the hell of it.

I've recommended the Walther PPQ M2 Navy to 3 new shooters for their first pistol. All 3 love it and are very happy. I'm a hardcore Glock guy but know the Glock is not for everyone, so I never recommend buying it without first handling it. I also think the M&P9 2.0 is an excellent pistol that also has interchangeable palm swells for different hand sizes (like the PPQ). Both worth a look.
