Hey all experienced wise gunners. I just casted 90 lee 7/8oz slugs. They turned out great. Now its time to load. I'm using rem premier hulls noble primers and claybuster wads with 36 gr of hs6. My question is is it better to put fiber cards under these slugs or not? Also the manual with the mold says to just crimp like a shot shell. Would a roll crimp be better. Thanks all

Hey Brybenn

You are best to head over to Cast Boolits Fourm and Shotgun World Fourm.
Thats were I was pointed when I came up with the same question as you.

A nitro card under the slug and cutting 1/4" of the wad pedals seems to be a must. The Claybuster wads seem to be crap for slugs, get the real Federal or Winchester wads.

Good Luck
