I just received an AR today that I think is pretty cool. I picked it up on the EE and will hopefully get out with it in the not too distant future. I had a 180-B a few years ago but never shot it and sold it NIB. I'm going to have to hit the reloading bench for a while I'm thinking.

Nice, glad you finally got it. Maybe try it with the front site alittle further down the rail. Also check the torque on the bolts, mine was lose and it shot alittle bit low until it was tightened up.

Thanks. Which bolts? I have the torque wrench. The front sight is BCM (fixed) it's a (folding) Troy Industries rear. I guess I should have posted that initially for the record, or in case anyone asked.

Great little gun you won't be disapointed. I have had many black rifles and I always go back to the AR-15 system. I would like to have an SP1 upper and barrel for plinking.

Any particular reason you have the front sight so far back, really no reason to no go all the way forward unless your doing the 12:00 light mount with a X300.

I'm new to ARs. It had a light mounted and I just unpacked it. Give me some time to figure stuff out.:p

The two bolts at the rear near the mag area that hold the barrel in place. I see that the previous owner has painted them, they are torx type. Check the torque setting.
