get one of the drill and tap receiver style mounts. more expensive and harder to instal, but far superior.

the cover mounts do not hold zero, and the tapco handguard mounts are no better. Check out B.C. Tactical for their scout mount. For $50 its the cheapest and easiest to install mount that will hold zero. You will need a micro red dot for that though. Next choice would be a choate mount, drill and tap 4 holes in the side of the reciever to bolt it on. Read thru the SKS optics sticky for info on pretty much all the available mounts and some home-brew setups as well
