BTW ...a few from that age have chambers that measure 2-9/16".

At +/- 104 years old, it looks to have been well-cared for.

It is in great shape for it's age.
I am thinking the chambers are short, but will make a gauge to find out before shooting it.
I'm going to purchase one of the factory letters as had been suggested.
