I tried the same load of 40 grains of H4198 and 420 grain cast slugs that I shot from my blued guide gun in the new stainless.It was really nice to find out the GS shot the same big pills really well. The first cast bullets down the tube produced a one inch group. Happy camper here................

Sounds good. I too just upgraded to the stainless yesterday. Hoping it shoots like the blued version i just sold.

Did you chrony them? I use a stout load on 3031 behind 418 gr cast bullets in my 1885 and they squirt out at 1950 FPS. Might be just the ticket in the GG! Then again, I went and bought the CB model because it was a deal.
