Got a nice surprising phone call this morning, transfers done, statt is in, come n get it!
So now that its home, anyone have any recommendations like spare parts or common issues? It was pre-owned but looks to be in pretty good condition. 2003 made, round count unknown but believed to be minimal. Was able to get 5 mags with it so im not too worried about finding any more for now. I've done some research, but is there anything to note with these guns? It's my 3rd handgun now but my first polymer frame, and first .40. I'm looking forward to shooting this one tomorrow night, got 400 rounds dying to fly.

On to the real reason we make "my new gun" threads. To show off

And with the rest of the family.

Left to right: Sig 1911 tac ops traditional .45, HK USP .40, sig p226 w/APL 9mm.

Love my USP 40. Bought new and I'm unaware of any issues with these. Under the impression that these are "overbuilt" and will last a really long time.

Have a USP 9. It is overbuilt lke mentioned above, just go out and shoot! Mine is a 2001 and I have had it over 5 years with a large number of round through it. It has yet to miss a beat.
