New to Milsurp couple questions.

Keep them!
I have no experience with the Carl Gustav, but you can load the No. 5 Mk1 with soviet 7.62 X 39 bullets and a reduced powder load. I haven't perfected a load yet, but the initial results are good and the recoil is very light.
I have done that. Works like a charm. I haven't looked at checking for any real accuracy. Mostly just killing rocks at my hidden outdoor range. Then I loaded the empty, primed 7.62 cases with some flake (probably 700X) powder and fired a light cast bullet out of my "straight pull" SKS. at the indoor range. Load was likely 5 gr of 700X under a 93 gr LEE cast bullet. Not something you would take to the olympics, but rather fun to shoot.
