Try it in two feet of snow wearing snowshoes and walk 3-4 miles and get back to me on it. I don't suppose walking across a prairie field on flat ground would be a problem though.

Hahaha, 13 lbs is not alot for a 3-4 mile hike in the snow, maybe without snow shoes this may become more of a problem, but the real work start when you have to pack the animal out 3-4 miles! Then you have 100+lbs and the extra 13lb rifle!
