There's a few options in the S&W lineup.
Blued guns are the K-22 and the Model 17. Stainless options are the models 63 and 617 in both the early 6 shot model and the newer 10 shot model. All of these models are highly sought after and hold their price well. So don't be shocked by the expense. BUt the good news is that you'll get nearly all your money back should you ever sell it.
Ruger also made a double action .22 but I believe it was in the SP101 size which means that most or all of them would be prohibs.
There's some other budget guns you can find as well by Hi Standard, Iver Johnson and one or two other companies. But on the whole those guns have such heavy double action trigger pulls that you're best off treating them like an easily loaded single action gun and just thumb #### the hammer each time.
