new to reloading, die question

I know that powders have diff burn rates, and used for different calibers and bullet weights. and most of the dies are useless to me too as I dont own or shoot them, everything the neighbour had he sold to me at a good price . They will be going on the EE soon along with a bunch of the other supplies. Or maybe to the next gun show.

Sounds like you made a good deal. If I were you I wold Google "Reloading rifle ammo for beginners" and start leaning. I think a really good bit of reading that is available on line is the portion of the Hornady reloading manual explaining "interior ballistics" It explains a lot in regards to reloading.

This You Tube video seems to be a pretty thorough description of reloading rifle ammo.

The inter web has a few good ABC's of reloading videos. Lee has some good basic ones. Watch them! No offence bud, and i mean this as constructive criticism - but with a question like you asked, I would suggest you not load anything until you get some mentoring.... then prepare to get addicted!
