New to reloading - greetings

Hi All,

Fired through my first hundred rounds of reloaded 9mm this afternoon.

I've had the reloading bug for a while and took the plunge a few weeks ago. I started off with a hornady classic LnL kit.

Again, I have only loaded 100 rounds, but the enjoyment and relaxation that comes from reloading, and firing rounds that you have made is pretty awesome.

I look forward to sharing and learning through this forum.

Started off with 124 grain bullets (usually shoot 115 factory ammo)

Hodgdon HS-6 at 5.7 (range of 5.2 min - 5.9 max).

I made 10 rounds to start. Being smart, I knew I should only make a few to see if they fire correctly...but being dumb, and having an extra day before going to the range, I ended up making 100. Being lucky...they fired juuuust fine
 
it's hard no to stop making them once you start, i made up 3000x 9mm in 2 days (lee pro 1000) but i forgot to confirm my charge was good for the bullet weight, so they are all undercharge. luckly they cycle the slide in my 1911, but they fail to feed almost every round in my glock. :( ohwell.
 
I'm glad I chose to start off with a single stage press. It will help curb the production and it will help to learn and take my time with it. I have over 600 spent brass waiting to be cleaned so this weekend will be another good session.

I also love how much cleaner handloading leaves your gun compared to factory bulk loads!
