Hello there, i'm trying to develop a 45acp+p load with 200gr tc bullet, since power pistol powder is hard to find.

Experimental loads below:

7.5gr auto comp, WLP

8.0gr ramshot comp, WLP

they all shoots 6-12" to the left at 25 yard, with usp45 and 5" 1911

Maybe just wrong powder for this application or should i increase or subtract the load?

In my opinion It's not the pistols but you.
I think you are anticipating the the recoil and flinching.
Do you have any +P factory loads to confirm POI?

Try using the pad of your finger (the part under the finger nail) on the trigger. i find I shoot left if I use too much finger.

If it is ammo related, I would suspect you are not holding the gun hard enough.

It's most definitely you. Even out of round projectiles or inconsistent components or loads would not result in consistent trajectories to one direction only.

Try printing this out an putting it up as a target so you can instantly see what you're doing wrong.

OP, do this test:

1) Take 5 rounds each of factory ammo and your reloads and give them to a friend. Have your friend load up your magazine for you and randomly intersperse the factory and custom rounds. Your friend needs to write down the order in which the rounds were loaded for later, and it's important that you *don't* know the order. (Note that the first round inserted in the mag is the last one to be fired :))

2) Shoot the entire magazine, taking careful note of your POI for each round

3) Compare with the list your friend made. If you can't match up your hand loads with the impacts on the left of the target, it's you and not the ammo.
