Hi All
I'm new to reloading and have purchased a Lee 4 hole Deluxe kit for loading 300 WSM and also 9 mm luger.
Which dies would you recommend for each.
300 WSM is hunting loads and 9 mm luger is for competitive target.
Which powders bullets etc has everyone tried and found to be close grouped.

I am also looking at reloading shot shell and was thinking RCBS Grand or Mini Grand due to they load all 3 sizes.
I will be using loads for Goose, Duck and Trap.
any and all suggestions will be extremely apprec.

Thank you.

Can't comment on the 300, but for 9mm I found the 4 die deluxe pistol carbide set from Lee to work very well. Good price, no case lube requied and comes with a factory taper crimp die. Powder I have only used Win 231 and Hodgdon Titegroup. Both produce accurate groups and meter well in a powder thrower. For bullets, the new AIM 124 gr. Plated bullets are great. Just as good as FMJ and 2/3rds the cost.

I got redding 300 wsm dies and love em, but rcbs are way cheaper and probably work just as well.

As for loads in the wsm, my best so far is berger 175's in front of 69 gr rl25 under half inch groups consistantly out of a savage with 1 in 10 twist.

Lee is the #### for cheap money it can't be beat. I have the same press and the carbide deluxe 4 die set is the best for pistols although I don't bothe crimping my 9mm. I do for my .45 though and they work amazing. I don't think it makes a big difference for rifle but I'd buy lee just because I have such great experience with the pistol dies.
