bought my first shot gun and a clay pigeon thrower.
The thrower is the kind that sits on the ground, you manual #### the throwing arm and use a string to release the spring and it chucks the clay.
Anyways, my gun is a pump 28 inch browning BPS 12 gauge. I was using the IC choke and using 2 3/4 shells and 3 inch shells today.. I have no idea what shells to use ideally, but I did really well according to the guy I went with who has done it lots before. I'd hit 8 or 9 out of 10 clays.
Anyways, ideally what shells should I be buying for clays? What shot size etc..
And I'd like my gf to give it a shot, what shells for a 12 gauge would she be most comfortable shooting as far as low recoil is concerned??
Thanks! First time today and I had a blast
