new to shotshell reloading

So i got my hands on a Lee loader in 12 gauge and i was thinking of making some cheap slug loads using lead round balls. So im trying to find some 12 gauge lead balls for this experiment and so far ive found nothing, i was wondering if anyone could cast me some in return for payment, or tell me where to buy some. Also if anyone could give my any advice or pearls of wisdom they might have on the subject.

Lee makes a mould for a 1oz slug that fits into a normal shotwad. No roll crimp needed. There was some for sale in the EE awhile ago. I don't know if they are still there.

Apparently the lee loader kit says you need to order a crimp starter from them but i dont think they make one anymore. Would this work? http://www.hornady.com/store/12-Gauge-6-Point-Universal-Crimp-Starter-1-Each/ just to get the crimp started then do the actual final crimp with the lee loader.
