it's an interesting place
Thanks for the greetings. What can I say about the YT? As one hunter described it tome,"what a beautiful place, utterly deviod of game". However, he did not have the patience to sit and glass to find anything. Too many outfitter produced videos. You know, a 72" moose behind every tree, 40" stone sheep on every hill and 550 caribou wandering the slopes.
I'll tell you this, it's a good thing I did the crazy things in my 20s. Looking back 20 years later, there are a few things I'd reconsider. Things like strapping a 400 cc quad on the float of a beaver and flying it 150 miles into a base camp. I was not the pilot, but I've flown enough to judge that the flight charactistics were significantly changed during that flight. At the time it seemed like a good idea.
