new to site. looking for 50BMG

Curtmg: I hear ya. Funny thing you mention loudeners, I saw a muzzle "thing" a while ago that multiplied muzzle flash and noise. Making an 18" barrel 5.56x45 spit flames with the fury of a thousand suns and have the thundering boom of a million cannons going off at once.

If you let me shoot a round, you can do whatever you want, I'll smile all day. It really wasn't that bothersome, if it was, I'd have moved over. Was fun to watch guys taking shots on it.

We have been forced to include a stainless steel wire tooth brush with every 50 sale. This helps to remove the manure eating grin that most get when they shoot 1 for the 1st time:D

How about the Hagelberg FH50 from Wolverine, pretty cheap to get into 50's.

I am not sure that Wolverine still has them. I did not notice them listed on their website any longer and can not get Hagelburgs website to open any longer except for their silencer division.
Not sure if it is my computer ineptness or if Hagelburg is no longer making them. But they WERE affordable.

Shoot a round ??....I'd be upset if you didn't want to shoot more than one round. After two or three, or four the smile will last several days... trust me !
:D

The last "test driver" was a 14 yr. old and he has been harassing his dad to buy one for months...he had three rounds, took pics and had a hoot !

Meph, just to avoid any misunderstanding, Suputin is the real deal. With respect to the design, application, and the care of suppressed/silenced weapon systems and with respect to the subject of the loading and ballistics of subsonic ammunition, he is an expert "par excellence". Now Suputin can be a little contrite, and it appears that you've caught him at such a moment. But should you have a serious question relating to silenced weapon systems or ammunition for use in silenced systems he will probably provide you with an in depth and interesting answer.

Boomer Suputin is just grumpy these days, still getting used to having to hobble around on 2 additional aluminum legs. I suspect in a couple of months he will be back to his normal semi grumpy self.
Meph he is good friends with Al Paulson as I recall and certainly does know the suppressor stuff.

Let us know how your rifle shoots, I would really like to know what they are capable of.
