Hey All,

My name is Evan, and I'm new to the gunnutz community (Just registered today). I'm also new to the hunting community, but am quickly becomming addicted. I bought my first rifle (a CZ 22. LR) last year, and hunted grouse and other small game to learn the basics. This year I inherited a family heriloom (1942 Lee Enfield 303 Brit) and plan to take my first deer. I'm very interested in aquiring different long rifles, and shotguns to use in the upcoming season, as well as learning from the stories and experiences of other hunters. Just wanted to say hello out there :)

Hello and welcome. Good luck with your path. Sounds like you're well on your way. Enjoy the site.

Have fun with your Enfield! I have two and they're a hoot...can be a little hard on the shoulder especially if they're stock. Good luck to you!

hey there. btw if there are any canadian people there that see this, is this deranged law if heard about guns that look "aggressive" are illegal here?

This one is a Mark 1, but I could shoot it all day. It has a limbsaver on the butt, but that was mostly to adjust for length of pull. My uncle is a huge collector, he owned the rifle before me. The groupings I get with it aren't impressive but for deer hunting under 150 yards it should be just fine.
I'm interested in purchasing a Browning X bolt later on, but I think I should shoot more and learn a little more before making the purchase.
