highly advise to start collecting your spent shells for reloading cause the cheaper priced 7.62x51 ammo on the market can get scarce.

Make sure the Gas system isn't turned off most are when you get them. (single shot) Make sure you clean the oil out of the firearm and use grease to lube it back up and it should work fine. Lots and lots of oil to remove it's a pain in the rear.

Mine shot far left out of the box so the sight needed some adjustment not much. I also changed the guide rod it cycles allot smoother not because of it something you might want to change down the road it also helps with accuracy

The spindle valve should be in the verticle position for the gas system to be open.
