New to the site from Toronto...anywhere to shoot over 1000m in Southern Ontario?

Hi All,
I'm new to the site. It's a great resource!

I've joined the ORA and am starting to get
proficient at 300m with a .223 and over 500m with a 6.5cm.

Are there there any ranges anywhere in Ontario with over 1000m? I'm aware of Borden Moms range. Being from the city I sadly don't know any farmers with land to shoot.

Yes they do...you can attend either as a guest for a small fee or free (i think) if you are a member of the ORA.

Oddly enough those are within about 16 yards of the same thing.

Yup, Connaught, Cedar Springs and Winona are the only metric military ranges in Ontario. Cedar Springs and Winona are limited to 300m. Dumb asses moved the dirt mounds to turn yard ranges to metric ranges. The OP is looking for 1000m range. I understand MilCun has a couple lanes that are 1000m and maybe Petawawa has some metric ranges that go back to 1000m.
