New to Trap - most economical shells?

Hi all.

I have just started shooting trap at my local club and find it one of the most enjoyable shooting sports I have tried.

My questions are, where would I get the most economical shells in Southern Ontario and what is the comparable cost of reloading?

I currently cast and reload handgun and rifle calibres and would not mind getting into shotgun shells if the savings are significant.

Not sure on where to find the best price in Ontario, around here occasionally Bass Pro puts Remingtons on sale for a decent price.

Reloading doesn't tend to save very much unless you have access to cheap components. Being in Ontario you might be able to get shot cheaper then I can out west, but the only way I save enough to make it worthwhile is by making my own shot.

I'm probably under $3.00 a box, but that's making my own shot, and hunting hard for deals on other components.

lebarons out in mississauga have a sale on. $54 for a flat.(1oz no8) about $5.45 for a box. i usually buy a ton of shotshell ammo from there.cheaper then basspro.

I like shooting federal better then win. Not sure why really though.
