New to trap

Shot a round of trap a week or so ago and liked it but I don’t have “trap” gun so bought a BT99 to give it a go. Went last night to try it out (my second time trying trap) and did quite well (IMO). Shot 21 first round. While I was pleased with that, the REAL pleasure came in the form of my son and grandson, also second time shooting trap) did better. I had bought my son a Miroku O/U and he seems to really like it snd shoots it well. However, I was over the moon watching my 10yo grandson busting birds with his mossberg bantam 20ga pump. He outshot me the second round. Can you say “proud Papa?”. He even did well shooting from the handicap position.

Always good to get out with the grandson, glad to hear he is hitting birds!
My grandson is 10 also and I’ve been wanting to get him out, your post may be the motivation I need 😁
