I have a little air compressor - compressor, tank, and rechargeable battery all one unit, almost as useful as R2D2. The tank is the important part - no compressor noise.
Corn in the flash hole
Overnight here also.
But then a couple times I forgot and left it for the better part of a week!! Started out with a batch of brass and nickel cases, ended up with all brass. It polished the nickel right off.....
Corn in the flash hole is only a problem if going to do a final wash and store the brass in a 5 gallon bucket. The depriming pin will clean out the hole when you go through the reloading process.
Why would you be decapping again?
No, thanks! After spending almost an hour getting corncob out of flash holes I don't think I will ever tumble decapped brass ever again.
Run it until they are clean...No, not being a smartass...
A few hours shoudl clean them, and if you want them relaly shiny do it overnight...
this happened to me as well,
when i came back from Cuba after three weeks of vacation, the Brass was tatally disolved, desintegrated....nothing left.
The RCBS vibrator was still running perfectly....
"I am new to tumbling" was his post, so some new members may want to see some of the free help videos that RCBS and LEE have to offer. Oh I should have told him to PM JOE-NWT, as he is the reloading God? I guess we can't all be as perfect as JOE.....oh andyou know what to do with that right JOE.
You will still have to spend time cleaning out the primer pockets!!
