New to you CZ858 from Wolverine.

CSA is in 7.62x39, has only 200 rounds through it, and is solid, zero issues. Compares very nicely to the 858 in almost every way. Now this is my second CSA. The first one I swear had well over 2500 rounds,(almost 2 crates of ammo, all surplus corrosive). I traded it out last year to my neighbour who still shoots it, has to be up to 4k in round count. NEVER had a hiccup or malfunction. Still looks, feels and runs great (tried to buy it back a couple months ago before I just bought a new one).
I always preferred the 858 only for nostalgic reasons mostly, but honestly I do not understand the differences, as I have owned several 858 rifles as well as the two CSA models. All are stellar, in my experience, I truly believe. I know there have been plenty of issues with the .223 calibre, but I have to say the 7.62x39 has been excellent.
Indvidual experiences vary, they always do :)

The more important question I have for you is.... Do you have any more of those Czech "Swamp" Camo Zelts to sell like the one you have in your picture? ;)

I need one to go with the rest of my Czech guns and military uniforms.

LOL I brought literally dozens back over the years, back when they were maybe $12 a piece...sadly I'm down to this last one. Nice to see someone recognized it LOL!
I do see they come up on Ebay every now and then...celtan in Czech
Oh and super cool pic!!

Nice.

I think a folder might be the only "obvious" mod I might make to my CZ, especially as its easily reversible.

The only other changes in the works I have are the ambi mag release, and a muzzle brake. I am contemplating the Zahal bolt release.

All just minor ergonomic things.

I like the look of the Beaver Barf furniture. Its just so well suited to the gun.

Joe, you always have the coolest stuff! LOL

I'm a Zelt hoarder... I need a nice Czech Celtan for my collection. ;)

My buddy has a nice Czech one like you have , but wont sell it either, got him hooked on Zelts too... ;)

I keep all my guns the way they are intended to be. I'm a purist, just the fact that my CZ has a long barrel makes me cringe, it hurts so bad for a purist like me.
I have 3 SKS's 100% stock no mod on them. My CZ will stay exactly like this, folding stock, that's it. :)

I find the original BB stock is good to shoot even for a tall guy. It's way better than the sks standard which wrecks my wrist after 100 odd rounds.

Canadian CZ/VZ's suck. One of you should sell one (and PM me when you do)....

There is a marking of a twin tailed lion on the side of the gun. Czech government requirement on all Czech made guns. The year is right after that marking. Example, X13 would be 2013. X08 would be 2008.
