new toy but need your help

Hi everyone I jest bot a new Remington 887 nitromag tactical shot gun. If I want to shoot slugs out of it will I have to change the choke tube? The one it came with is "TACTICAL EXT CYLINDER". This is my first shot gun It is a smooth boar so I know that I need to use slugs that are rifled. But it pass throw the factory choke safely?

Yeah it's no problem. I've shot lots of slugs through mine.
