New Toy, CZ P10 C, suppressor ready

Untrue. Many, many YouTube videos saying the P-10c trigger is comparable to the PPQ. With the HBI trigger shoe, I feel it is even better.

What is untrue? That the striker fired market is very busy. Hell Glocks have been out for how many years and CZ is just now entering a very crowded market.

Have you shot and compared the two guns? If not I would suggest you do before you come to any conclusions one way or another. Being as late as they are to this market I would hope the trigger pull is good. If it is just average the gun won't sell beyond the CZ faithful. It won't be better but certainly could be as good as the PPQ. I don't put much faith in the opinion of youtube videos. Hickock45 is about the only guy, along with Hunter Elliot, whom I know, whose opinion I value. Most just mimic marketing hype. Truth be known most of us shoot one gun as well as the next.

Personal preference means even ugly gals get lucky sometimes and all get married eventually. True for men as well to keep the comment gender neutral, for those who are sensitive.

the P10 trigger is miles ahead of the Glock trigger, out of the box. The Walther has a spectacular trigger, but, well, that's about it.
I want to love my P10C, but right now I think because of my hand size it's going to be the F that I love.

Well not quite Rob.

The PPQ has great front and rear sights that can be changed with a small screw driver in about five minutes.

The gun has polygonal rifling which is good news bad news depending if you like to shoot lots of lead bullets. Both my PPQ's show signs of leading after about 250 rds using water quenched lead bullets from WW alloy.

FMJ, plated or lead the pistols are incredibly accurate off a bench which translates to the shooter going freestyle.

Fit and finish on the PPQ's is a big step above my M&P's for certain and because the guns are made in Germany they get tennifer coating which is arguably the best finish in the industry. Glocks used it for years.

The ergos are excellent. You get replaceable back straps to get just the right fit for the shooter.

The gun is light and perfect for IDPA and will be a player in the new IPSC Production Light Division.

If I had a wish list on the gun I would get rid of the trigger safety and go with a solid trigger. I have had shingles in my shooting hand and the center safety thingy in the trigger stings my finger when shooting. I would also prefer the gun to have a lifetime warranty like Walther USA offers.. Two years to the original purchaser in Canada just doesn't cut it. I have tested North Silva customer service and found them to be very good as they should be as their work was on my dime. :<).

The stepped chamber of the PPQ leads to match accuracy (HK copied this design). The Walther is a superb striker fired gun in nearly all respects. I have shot and dry fired many CZ P10c's and the triggers are very inconsistent. Some of those triggers were actually bad. The CZ P10 is a very nice gun. I loved it and wished it had a better trigger.....which one could probably attain with some work and eventually after market parts. Anyone who has competed at 50 meters with the PPQ knows how accurate they are...and I haven't found another plastic gun that shoots more accurate than a PPQ yet.

-I have HK disease and wish the SFP9 was as good and accurate as the PPQ.....it just isn't and it drives me nuts! PPQ does everything the SFP does, just better.

Canuck44 is right, internet hype and experts. Try before you buy for yourself if you can!

This is the only thing holding me back from getting the Walther.

As for the CZ P10 C, there were some early issues which I think have been cleared up, but I have also heard of the inconsistencies Rich speaks of. The one I looked at in the US store had very stiff slide and mag release and an OK trigger but no where near the PPQ.

Tobin I was certainly disappointed with the lack of a life time warranty with the Walther. That said, I am pretty happy with the gun overall. Combine a gun with excellent ergos, a great trigger, outstanding accuracy and build quality it becomes a combo tuff to ignore.

YOU know what I meant! I been waiting so long for the CZ to show up because of our stupid barrel length laws and now that the 10F is coming might just as well await a little longer. They are all different PPQ, CZ, Sigs that's the fun.

Yup, I know what you meant but I certainly don't agree with your comment. A decent trigger can relate to better scoring. Try B Zone plates at 20 yards with a heavy crappy trigger vs a light crisp trigger. A decent trigger makes a difference even for those who are plinkers.

Do the ones that get sold in Canada have factory 10 round mags or are they pinned?
If they are factory 10 round mags, do they still come with the "extended" base plate or are they flush with the frame?
I was also wondering if magazine ejection is as positive/strong as the reviews say they are?

How is the grip?
I know it's a very personal thing but overall will stippling be as much of a must as on Glocks?

What light setup would work well and what are you all using if any?

I heard Glock 19 holsters more or less work, but what are/will you guys be running?

Lastly, are both front are rear sights nights sights?
Red up front and green(?) in the back?
I'm seriously considering this as my next gun and wanted to get ad much info as possible.

Would love to see more pics of your rigs!

There is an optic ready, suppressed version version in the release.

They better release it soon and have it on Canadian dealer shelves Hope my P10C-S will be released from "dealer jail" by next week! If it works well I gonna buy the optic ready suppressor version too! I don't find too many hand guns that fit my hands.:p

Finally got to handle one, feels pretty good in the hand but didn't seem to sit as low in my hand as a glock. Wasn't a huge fan of the urban grey tho, and didnt care for the supresor sights or the extra long threaded barrel. Would rather have a 19x.

I know what you are saying I was being funny:cool:I have a good selection of handguns and rifles but NOTHING I have compares to this FN 98 mauser sporter I bought awhile back. I don't think their is a millimetre of movement in the trigger action, if you breathe on it and it fires. My old smiths can't even match this trigger in single action, I just wanted a 30-06 rifle with a 98 Mauser action and this trigger was a total surprise.

Mine came with the extended, but pinned from IRunGuns, so...? I bought some more at the time, they are flush factory ten rounders.

Yes to both; positive, but strong. I didn't feel like playing with it in front of the TV (Netflix and drill? Should I copyright that?), so I Utubed what part to file. Didn't take much, and now it's still very positive, but takes a normal amount of pressure to release

How is the grip?
Like a Shadow, but a bit narrower, IMO

Hard no:). Very grippy

TLR-7, works very well

I heard Glock 19 holsters more or less work, but what are/will you guys be running?
I tried...three?...Glock holsters, two worked? It's been a while, sorry, can't remember the brands. I bought a couple from SolCan

Lastly, are both front are rear sights nights sights?
Red up front and green(?) in the back?
Three tritium dots

Mine just got released from the dealer jail. The trigger on mine seems to be heavier than the IWA demo by a lot. Otherwise it looks good.

I heard that the suppressor optic ready one will be coming to Canada in 2019.

Awesome Smelley Pete!
So now I'm looking to hold out until they are shipping them optics ready or until there is s Black Friday sale.

Only mods I guess I would do is an HBI trigger and steel guide rod.
Light and holster wise, too many options and more research is needed on my end. TLR-1 and TLR-7 are at the top of my list!
Only issue with the APLc is the battery. Otherwise, it looks like it was made for it!

Greentips, hopefully they won't have the hideous UN markings when the suppressor+optics ready hit the shelves.

Iamjocanadian, when you installed the HBI trigger, did you also use one of the springs in the kit?
If so, how reliable have the primer strikes been?

Also, do the suppressor ready models come with a plastic or steel guide rod?
