New toy for my Swiss Arms Classic Green

I picked this up at the Carp gun show earlier today, then took it and my rifle to the range. I got some interesting comments like "No way that's legal!"

I didn't think the older STG bayonet would attach to the newer rifle. Nice, I have seen those bayonets at antique fairs for $20.

Damn, and here I paid $35 for mine...

Surprisingly it fits really well. When I saw it on the table, I thought "damn, that Stg 57 bayo looks like it will work on my Classic Green...".

that's one helluva knife for $35, belongs in the kitchen at that price. Great Steel holds an edge, will skin a few deer if sharpened correctly.

I picked up a new bayo off the ee awhile ago. It ran me $250.00. It looks good on my black special, but i had to take out the bayo lug when i put a quad rail on it

I assume at $250 you got the one that Swiss arms sells. It has nothing to do with the Swiss military. I found the real deal, at the Cornwall militaria show(amazing) for $65.00 They are made by Victorinox and Wenger. Mine is the latter.

I have the STGW 57 bayo as well. They would look great on a special black.
