Just bought this black beauty from Marstar. She likes to wear white and it looks good on her.

It's hard to tell because I don't have similar guns to compare. Compared to my semi-autos it's definitely front-heavy, but the grip shape of Colt SAA kind of compensates that.
Hope to shoot it this weekend, we'll see how it goes. Never shot a SA revolver.

Had a pietra in 45 colt for a bit, same barrel length, definitely slows down your ammo usage using an SAA lol.
It was a good gun, well made, pretty, good trigger, fixed sights are kind of limiting when your ammo doesn't shoot POA, aiming off the target to hit the target just wasn't natural for me. I also hate cleaning wheel guns, even my D/A's lol.

I'm kind of skeptical regarding the fixed sights as well, but I really liked how the gun looked like with the fixed sights, in contrast to similar revolvers with adjustable sights. According to reviews of similar guns from the same manufacturer, it should shoot more or less at POA with the right ammo, and I'm OK with finding the right ammo for it.

What bothers me is that the crown on the barrel is visibly crooked and I'm not sure if it's going to affect accuracy and POI. Perhaps it's already taken into account at factory during the initial sights adjustment.

As you can probably tell, this gun was bought not for hunting or competitions, so if the accuracy is adequate and POI is reasonable, I'll be very happy with it. The trigger on the gun is good out of the box, and the length/weight makes it more forgiving to the trigger technique than shorter/lighter guns. Long long sighting distance also makes it easy to aim it accurately compared to shorter guns.

Just got back from the range - what a lovely gun!
Don't let the appearance deceive you - it's a great shooter, accurate and fun.
It's rather surprising how good those fixed sights are. The gun shoots exactly at POA at 5 and 10 yards with any ammo I've tried (it's obviously not going to be the case at larger distances).
We shot mild .38 Special (Blazer Brass) and hot .357 Mag (Sellier & Bellot) - both are easy to shoot and equally accurate in this gun.
Love it! Now I want to buy a SAA revolver with a shorter barrel, just because I liked the 7 1/2 inch version so much.

Just in case someone wants to know, there is no transfer bar.
