New toy - pre 64 Model 70 Supergrade

Thanks for the sound advice. Like I said, 70s a new animal to me, I collect old Winchester levers, not used to bolt guns. I do know a fellow who does a super job at reloading. I won't be doing any hunting with the rifle - as if I get to get out for another moose hunt, it will be with my old 405 WCF - but, would still like to at least see what it is like to shoot. I have heard the horror stories, lol.
As I am a collector (but also do some shooting and hunting with the old lever guns), I do not like to alter the old Winchesters. That said, I won't be making any mods. Probably just try it out once or twice, or maybe just put it in the wall with its older Winchester cousins. Love to shoot it, but would not be a good day to bring the gun home with a cracked stock. Had a bad experience once with a lead sled, never again. If I do want to get some reloading done, I will check back here for recomemend loads, unless someone has some to share now that are maybe to those 45-70 levels, like I said, would not want to come home with a gun in pieces, lol.
Thanks again.
Matt
