Moose Hauler - 15'6" ultra wide Coleman Scanoe.

Made many, many, river, lake and even ocean fishing trips in one of those in my teenage and early adult life. Later I bought the newer version and still own it. Great little canoe/boats good for all sorts of stuff. I throw a vintage 1968 Johnson 3hp on mine and off I go.

Man I hope that's better than the red Coleman my buddy owns. I've never seen a more tippy canoe, and I've played with quite the variety of canoes.

Looks like it would be a hoot with a electric motor on the back though!

I have an older 4.5 HP twin cylinder Evinrude that will be living on this one. Starts first pull every single time.

Not tipsy at all. 43 inch beam and triple keels, you can stand to fly cast in one of these.

They're flat bottomed so pretty stable. Not great for paddling as there isn't much of a keel to keep you straight but it's manageable with 2 somewhat skilled people. Either an electric or small gas outboard works perfectly on these. I think they're rated for 5hp max.

It’s not the keel that keeps a canoe going straight, but paddling techniques. I never owned a canoe with a keel and I never had an issue going straight and keeping straight.
With a small motor, that things should fly. I’m sure you will have fun with it!

Yes. They aren't the best for paddling.

I have one with a 2HP Merc it was great for moose and duck hunting and yes you can stand up in them. Gave it to my grandkids for the cottage.
