Went out to the mail box when I arrived home from work today and found one of those “We came by to deliver a package but nobody was home” cards from Canada Post. So off I went to the local gas station that also acts as a pick up point for mailed packages. This was waiting for me.....
It was like an early Christmas, start tearing paper and uncover the contents.....always exciting even if you know what was being shipped.
Then there is the moment that you realize that what the seller told you is exactly what you recieved
What a great way to finish the day.
I found this rifle on the EE
It’s a 700 ADL in 270 win. The seller bought it last spring from a retailer that had it in his rack for years. Shot a little over 100 rounds with it, still had the original box with the instruction manual sealed in it’s envelope and the VHS tape wraped in it’s cellophane....lol. Basicly it is very close to New in Box!
As a bonus Canada Post shipped it regular post from BC to Quebec in 5 days!
Now I just have to find some optics for it and it will be good to go for next years moose and deer season. I’m thinking a few less follow up shots if I come across another Hereford.......but thats another story.
This was one of the seller pics, as you can see he used a real camera and I'm still using my cellphone.....
I should get it out to the range soon..... stay tuned!
