New Toy

Thats the same scope I use on the LRT-3 no problems so far;) Built like tanks!! I dropped my Timberwolf on pavement enough to ovalize the sunshade and bind the threads on the sunshade! Picked up the rifle and fired it right away still zeroed:D This was the 56mm model I have the 50mm objective on the .50 Love Nightforce very good scopes.

Thanks for the offer Matt. I'll have to liquidate some inventory first :) .

I've got a NF 5.5-22 x 50mm that I think should do the trick in the interm. I've gotta think it's .50 cal rated.

Very cosy rifle it fits me like a glove! I really like the shape of the pistol grip very comfortable and natural feeling:D Thanks Uncle Ross and crew for making such nice toys;)

Guys, yesterday I came back from lunch to find a huge box awaiting me at the office. I knew exactly what is was so I dragged it down the hallway into my office and locked the door. A co-worker knocked on the door and I made him promise not to tell anyone so like little kids at Christmas, we cut into the box and unwrapped my new 50. We could barely contain ourselves. When I got it home, I realized very quickly i needed extra high scope rings for my
56mm objective lense to clear the rain but I'd rather have the rail then not so I'll do what's necessary to make sure my scope clears. Tomorrow evening I'll be shooting it so I'll know more but from handling it, I haven't been able to find anything thus far I'd change. It's everything I wanted my first 50cal to be. I even ordered an extra magazine just cause.

Thanks Ross for your service. It was great dealing with you. Now it's time to set some distance records!!!

I like the fact that even though I have a 56mm objective lense on my scope, as high a rings I need in order for my scope to clear the rail, there's still tons of cheek rest adjustment there to accommodate the larger objective lense. Can't wait to de-materialize something with this rifle. LOL
