Pulled a trigger on a Walther P22 today. I know there are lots of ppl who like/hate them. I have a copy of the all-inclusive P22 how to/what to. The biggest reason for the purchase was the fact that the wife has incredibly small hands, so this is the best option to accommodate her too.

I hope you don't get into any issue. A friend had a cracked slide few months back. Only a few thousand rounds and just out of warranty. Try using an SV round. If it cycles, avoid HV. Not a guaranteed option, but this might help reducing the future fatigue as the slide cycles.

There is a fix for the cracked slides, there are two shoulders that need some at home gun-smithing

I have to echo what was said I had my SIG Mosquito slide break right off, same quality issues..
