Got another mossberg 500 on trade just in time to shoot some grouse, Pretty sure an orange vest will no longer be needed with this bad boy! Prob wont have to even carry slugs since even a old blind black bear will see me with a glow in the dark stock. I think my first task at hand is to remove the heatshield that was cerakoted green since I don't think they really provide any advantage except trapping dirt.

I did notice the barrel and mag tube is a differnt colour then the receiver, like a matt/grey black is this normal? The receiver is blued.

Ugly but still people buy zombie Maxx ammo and cases for a premium.

Advertise it as a zombie control weapon that is glow in the dark. You may he surprised, I'd be scared #### less by someone with a glow in the dark shotgun at night. It's not about practicality with guns like these. Don't alter it at all, the buyer may pay more.

I feel like the gun overall would look allot better if I color matched the heat shield, Or just replaced it with a regular black one. I think I may turn this into a battleworn zombie project gun.

Anyone try using High temp engine paint on cerakote?
