New Trend In AR-15 Long Gas Systems.

I have been noticing an interesting trend in AR-15 design. Companies are starting to put long gas systems on short barrels.
The elongated gas system allows reduces bolt velocity. This result reduced recoil impulses and less wear.

Proprietary gas port design (probably enlarged) allows for mid length gas system on a 12.5'' barrel.

"It's a really unique rifle"....

Ummmmm, no, it's not. It's a run of the mill AR with a fancy upper and weird gas system.

Man I'm getting sick of these companies that have nothing to really offer other than run of the mill, but they advertise it as "game changing".
