So I love my 10/22, and I have since the day I bought it. But now, about 4000 rounds later, I finally want to upgrade my trigger group, and ultimately turn this thing into a near match-grade rifle. I had the chance to try an olympic .22 a little while ago, and it got me excited to build up one of my own.

I have a Shooter's Ridge fluted barrel on hold for me. (I'm getting a decent deal, but I would still appreciate a heads up on this thing. I haven't heard much about it.)

But to the reason I'm here.....

I have been doing some research, and I found what seems to be a comparable trigger group upgrade to the Volquartsen TG2000.

I have read some great reviews regarding the VQ lineup, not only this trigger group. But I would like to hear from anyone who knows about the Primary Weapon System T3 ATG - 10/22.

They are both similar in price.. I think maybe $20 or $30 difference, but that can all change with shipping.. etc.. I kinda like the PWS group, but I have no idea how well it is made, or functions.. I know it says it's "fully adjustable", but what can it do that the VQ can't? It also comes with PWS's T3 magazine release lever, which I like because it allows you to drop a mag with your trigger finger, but on a bench gun, I don't see the real need. With Volquartsen at least I feel as though I know what I am getting, and I am confident in it. The reviews speak for themselves, but I haven't heard about the PWS yet.

Anyways, check them out for yourselves...

If you want to go "match grade", you should be looking at the Kidd trigger groups and barrels. It's tough to go wrong with Tony's stuff.

I just put a KIDD on mine. Love it.

But I do like the Volq for a less expensive upgrade.

I here great things about the Volq drop in kit as well.
