NEW: Troy 102 Non Restricted Semi Auto Rifle, PRESALE NOW LIVE!

Very cool. Definitely interested in the 5.56 version.

Sorry for noob questions, but what parts are compatible with standard AR parts? Barrel? Stock? Trigger? BCG?

I don't know yet, we're waiting on that info.

Ryan

Preferably a 1in8 twist on the .243. A 1in9 would still be acceptable. A 1in10 is old and outdated and limits the bullet weighs that you can use. Please make sure they don't use a 1in10 twist.

Thanks

Troy have had NEA designed before(the CCS stock for example) but they have done their own manufacturing and QC,which as we all know was NEA’s downfall,So I wouldn’t be surprised if Troy is just using NEA/BCL’s design based on the ar102 and doing it in their own facility(or whoever they us to manufacture their products ).

Every Troy product I’ve owned has been stellar. I have 100% faith this product will live up to their reputation for high quality products.

I don't think Troy even knows what NEA is.

"If you preorder the Troy 102, you will get first crack at purchasing the first batch of 5.56 Troy Non Restricted rifles we expect to release later this summer."

Rick

I'm still waiting for my crack at and 10% off the BCL Badger that so many of us were promised last year. ;)

It is an exclusive product and isn't on their website at this time. It's a project they have been working on for awhile that just got approved. The Troy 102 is already in production.

Ryan

So are you saying that Troy started making this product exclusively for the Canadian market then for US sales?

Wicked! More great products for the Canadian market :). Thanks SFRC! Gunna pass on the .308 but definitely interested in the 5.56! Will buy this over the badger for sure.

Curious Ryan, with a company like TROY producing these, I imagine that they will be able to produce them pretty efficiently. I’m guessing these will be a regular stock item at some point? As well as the 5.56 version?

You'll need to discuss that with BCL as they are now handling all of that stuff. I informed the new owner of BCL what the previous owner had promised everyone.

Why do you feel the Troy is a better rifle than the BCL 102? At least the BCL is Made in Canada and has a lifetime warranty. The downside is those guys at BCL are really hard to get a hold of. Not trying to start anything, I'm just curious.

We will still be selling BCL products as well.
