New Truck Gun : XCR

Never been a huge fan of the XCR but after seeing these pictures I think I've changed my mind. Love the Magpul stock. Great looking rifle.

Again, why is this non restricted when an AR is? This is just as "scary" as an AR.

Might have to invest in an XCR in the future just so I can take it into the field.

Just one of the many idiocies that plague our gun laws.

OP: That is an awesome rifle, saw the ad in the EE and wished I had the cash to get it cause that there is my dream gun.

Congratz, and good choice for a truck gun.

Well guys Ginger came in the mail yesterday, I took her to the range and put 100 round through her off the iron sights and she is amazing to shoot, feels pretty much just as cool as any restricted black rifle out there. I am in Inuvik NWT right now and she has fallen into her spot quite well.

Mag empty of course

I tried that route. XCR, Bushnell 6500 Elite, Harris Bipod, Sopmod stock with factory adaptor. It was too bulky and heavy for use as a ranch rifle. I ended up going with a CZ858 instead. Let us know how it works out.

This XCR is getting a Flashlight, a VFG, and Aimpoint. Trying to keep it as slim and sleek.

what stock adapter is that OP?
i know that there are two or three different styles floating around, and want to know which one is which.

NWO - what brake is that? i'm sick of the stock FH on my .223.

The One Point Blackhawk Sling, is a nice fit for me and the gun, it took a little bit to get use to seeing the paint wear off, but hey the truck gun cant be perfect.

Congrats Camp Cook. Love the look of that gun. We need some action shots or a video even!

BTW is your girl there a Chessie? Could be the daughter of my late beloved Bonnie.

Yes that is for sure a Chessie in the back seat her name is Coa-Coa Bear my guy and I picked her up from just north of Viking, Alberta Nov 15/09 when she was 49 days old it was a 9 day excursion for us to go out there and get her back home...

If that was you I have been looking for your e-mail to send some recent pics.

She is my constant companion ahh who am I kidding so is my boy...

We moved within 300 yards of a river here is a pic of her that I took last week she loves it here so much chases beavers/ducks/geese/anything that moves, eats 1/0 fishing hooks and line what can I say other than she is a freaking expensive dog to have...
