Actually in their Catalog they do call it the T97NSR - with this different upper configuration and different paint jobs.

Interesting in that it has the rail extend past the gas regulator: it matches what I wanted in the original FTU, but I was over ruled by others preference to be swept back instead.

It should technically just be an upper difference and not need a new FRT.

Regardless what they want to call it, I'm still curious.

There was a guy a month or so ago who was saying a new T97 was coming. If it didn't need an frt it would be great.

If anything needs a NR frt it's like 2 years...
