Some clubs have a barrel length rule and some don't. Some are minimum 24" and some are 26". Only semi legit reason offered is that the shorter barrel creates more noise and muzzle blast making it uncomfortable for the shooters on either side of you.
I believe it's more of an image thing and an attempt to keep out the riff raff with their tacticool gangster guns.
I've seen some shooters do well with short barrels at the 16 yrd station at the range but it becomes impractical at further ranges.
Round capacity is also cited as an issue. In trap you only fire one shot at a time and you move shooting stations every 5 shots. When you go from 5th position to 1st position , you walk behind the other shooters and do so with action open or gun broken open. Mag fed guns make it hard to tell if you still have rounds in gun.
Plus you'll be looked at like the guy holding his Glock sideways at the other range ;)

Corect me if i'm wrong;

-Mag realease is at the bottom between grip and mag.
-Bolt release is on the side which looks very AR'ish.
-Safety above grip.

And is that a take down button in front of the bolt release?

Gawd they are ###y aren't they.

But I am curious what the side rail at the back is good for....

Yup. I want one. But I'll wait until they are here.

The side rail at the back appears to be for single point slings. Both with the QR point and probably the rail to attach other conversion pieces for non QR slings. At least that's the only sense I can make of it. that being said, that QR location looks perfect for those of us that use single point.

Single point is AWESOME when you're doing a deer drive through the thick stuff. I'd hunt with that thing all year :)

Awesome move on bringing these here!
I will be buying a UNG-12 once they've landed!
Any plans for the Uzkon ARS-12 Typhoon?

We were thinking the same thing and will see if they'll remove. Looks to be a separate piece.

I would recommend against it if it also removes the single point QR. A lot of us do CQB with single point slings. That position looks to be perfect for that purpose.

How big is the hole where the trigger is? It looks pretty small. Thinking about a lightly gloved hand fitting in cold weather
